Prismacolor Colored Pencil Drawing

This drawing was created as part of a series of drawings of animal close-ups. For this eagle head, I wanted to focus a little more on the eagle’s eye, so I cropped in a bit on it’s head. When I create a drawing like this, I like to use squiggles of the colors I have chosen below in the border of the drawing. An eagle is the symbol of America, Harley-Davidson, and Freedom and in my opinion, is one of the most beautiful birds on earth. The paper used is a 18w” x 12h” Speckletone recycled paper.
